Descripción

Circle of Security Parenting is a manualized attachment-based program used internationally with parents and other caregivers of children under 6. This four-day training seminar leads to certification and is designed to help professionals understand both the theory and research underlying the video-based parenting reflection program and how to deliver the COSP program effectively. COSP is based on decades of attachment research and offers an accessible step-by-step intervention process designed for group intervention.

This training is expected to be delivered in an in-person format in Denver, CO. However, if local or national guidelines discourage, restrict or prohibit in-person gatherings, the training will instead be delivered online during this same week listed.

COSP is designed for Mental Health Providers (Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapists, etc.) Family Support Workers (Parenting Education, Outreach Workers, Foster Care Support, Clergy and Faith-based Providers, etc), Healthcare Providers (Pediatricians, Nurses, Doulas, etc), and Educators (Preschool/Childcare Providers, Behavior Support Specialists, etc). If you are unsure if your role is applicable to this training, we encourage you to complete an application anyway.

Please see our flyer on the event details page for more information!

The application deadline was Friday, April 8, 2022 at 5p.m. MT.
