Description

Thank you for your interest in the Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) Training hosted by Right Start for Colorado.

The FAN is a conceptual model and practical tool for attunement in relationships and reflective practice. The FAN promotes family engagement and practitioner/parent collaboration in a range of service settings (e.g., home visiting, primary care, early intervention, ECMH consultation, child welfare).

This team-based training (supervisors and practitioners together) uses a cohort model over the course of 6 months, and includes the following 3 components:
  • Core training: 2 virtual days for supervisors and practitioners scheduled Monday November, 13 2023, and Thursday, November 16, 2023, 9:00-3:30 MST.
  • A supervisor-only training Monday February 12th, 2024 10:00-12:00 MST.
  • Reflective practice: Practitioners use the FAN in their work with families for 6 months with the support of their supervisor. Supervisors attend monthly mentoring calls about their use of the FAN in supervision (date and time of calls TBD).
  • Follow up: The cohort reconvenes after 6 months to consolidate their learning during an Integration Day scheduled for May 14th, 2024 9:00-3:30 MST.
Please note: given this is a team based training, applications will be required to be submitted by supervisors for an entire team. Once accepted, supervisors and participants will be asked to register through the Right Start for Colorado portal.
